1. Choosing The Country: Its important to chose a location which offers you advanced treatment and economical solutions. You have to check quality, distance and cost.

2. The Procedure: Research the procedure options of the country which you are planning to go and compare them with you country procedures. If you have an insurance, check if it is available in the country where you are planning to travel or ask what do they suggest you to do to use your insurance. Also make it clear that the clinic you choose has got enough knowledge on dental tourism.

3. Choosing The Right Clinic: While you are choosing the clinic, its important to find the equipped clinic. Don’t forget, in oral and dental health there are many branches. Oral and Dental Health Treatment in Turkey and the Application Process

If you decide to get oral and dental health treatment in Turkey, my advice for you is to plan a short trip first in order to get a treatment program and examination. Most of the clinics will ask you to take a panoramic x-ray image and send it to them in order to figure out what treatment you will need to get. Bu keep in mind that panoramic x-ray images is not enough to figure out the whole treatment. To organize your travel and treatment time it would be much more better to come for a preliminary assessment.

In this preliminary assessment; general oral examination is performed including teeth, gums and jaw bone. If needed Panoramic x-ray taken and supported with radiologic review. Patient’s general oral and dental health status is evaluated. And treatment program performed according to the results. After these we prepare the information and plan of the treatment and the total travel time including the budget. This helps the patient to program his/her trip with detailed information.
